It has strong adsorptivity, and aluminum ions are very stable substances, so activated alumina is also very stable when adsorbed, and will not react with other substances. 


Activated alumina is mostly used for air drying of air compressors, gas drying of instruments and meters, and air drying of refrigerants in suction dryers. What size is the appropriate size of activated alumina for air drying?


 The specifications of activated alumina are divided into 1-2mm, 3-5mm, 4-6mm, 5-8mm and others. The application of different particle sizes is different. 3-5mm activated alumina is generally used for air drying and purification. If the screen has a large gap, 5-8mm activated alumina can be used for the lower part and 3-5mm activated alumina for the upper part, which is more conducive to air circulation and adsorption. 

The particle size of activated alumina for water treatment fluoride removal agent is 1-2mm. The smaller the particle size, the better the defluorination effect of activated alumina. The specific surface area is large and the internal pores are abundant. Activated alumina has amazing adsorption performance. It is comparable to activated carbon. When we use activated alumina as a fluoride removal agent, we must choose primary activated alumina, which is a new activated alumina. 


This activated alumina has good adsorption performance and will not dissolve harmful substances, and cannot choose regenerated activated alumina. The adsorption performance of aluminum and regenerated activated alumina is unstable. At the same time, it will cause harm to water quality due to the adsorption of harmful gases, so this must be recognized.
